Scanlon Associates' MRO Management module has attracted a lot of interest. This interest is coming from existing clients, prospective clients, and clinical labs--all due to the potential savings this new module offers.

MRO Management can translate results found in labs' data files into the codes clients have established in the DrugPak Software Suite. It can then import the results and offer MROs the opportunity to manage and verify results on his/her desktop computer. All negative results can be batch verified and lab positives can be individually verified. Once verified by the MRO, results can be exported to DrugPak Software Suite for further processing, reporting, and permanent storage.

We estimate that this module can eliminate between 50% and 90% of the data entry workload. This reduction is one of four productivity-boosting goals behind the development of MRO Management. In addition to reducing the data entry workload, these goals include increasing the number of tests reviewed, allowing clients to offer leading-edge pricing, and ultimately increasing their profitability.

ICE is an acronym whose definition describes the design of the three new modules recently released by Scanlon Associates to enhance its DrugPak Software Suite software product. ICE stands for Integrated, Comprehensive, and Easy-to-use. This describes the modules of the DrugPak Software Suite very well.
